The Colosseum, The Palatine Hill and The Forum.

This afternoon I was walked to death on a tour of The Colosseum, The Palatine Hill and The Forum. Goodness but Rome is beautiful. I’m getting to know my way around and have averaged 8 miles a day! Our guide was great … very handsome but more to the point informative and knowledgeable. The Colosseum is rather majestic inside and out. Of course we had the gladiator spiel but also some well researched historical facts as a counterbalance. I met up and went around with an American Family, Paulette, and her daughter. I thought her accent was odd and a bit British … she’s a Jamaican who lived in London for years before ending up in New York. Very sweet as we’re her family.
