True to form I found an exhibition! Escher is fascinating and what a great draughtsman. His inventiveness and wonderful precision is hypnotic. The first video is of a mirrored room … disorienting and infinite. A remarkable way to show his tessellations

This quote struck me as important given how I feel about Italy. It has a soothing and yet intoxicating romance that seeps into you.
