Escape to myself

This is a very pretty little town: and very up market. As a result there is a lot of interesting street art. The big fibreglass animals are great fun.

There are also some good modern sculptures throughout the squares

I had the chance to catch a street installation … “Riflessi del Lago”. Using recycled clothing it is part of a larger exhibition looking at Lake Garda from an ecological viewpoint and using recycled materials. This one uses clothes of different colours to explore the landscape of the lake.

There was a small exhibition in the town gallery of art by Sergio Sorgini. It explored cinema in a variety of ways. I really loved the sculptures and the painting Il Basio. An interesting visit. The town obviously takes its street art seriously. It was nice to see such care.
