Escape to myself

Yesterday evening I had a nice surprise. Cristina had invited two of her friends to meet me. We had dinner together and I tried to drag my Italian together and have a conversation. Luckily they spoke good English too. They corrected me when I was wrong which was very helpful. They were very welcoming and friendly and I felt part of the Italian way of life. Home cooked Italian food, a little wine and good conversation. They speak so quickly that I had a little difficulty in following sometimes. But it was great fun and Cristina is the best host I could have had. Now onward for another day in class.
