This has been a wonderful month and what I have learned is how exceptional people, particularly the young on the threshold of the new, can be. My “classmates ” took me to their hearts and I have made so many chance encounters with random strangers who were open to friendship and discussion on every aspect of life.A group of US college kids taking photos in a booth near a bar, a cook from US who lives here, Paulina from the school and people in restaurants: staff and customers alike. I’ve been met with such kindness and acceptance. Life is full when you meet people who are”simpatico” with an open heart.
Clubbing, eating together, laughing together, talking, drinking. This trip made me feel fully alive. I shall miss this companionship. Of course, none of our lives remain so free; we all return to our quotidian lives. but in these moments we discover our true selves and explore so much. Galleries, food, museums and friendships fullfill our souls and nourish our spirit so as I say goodbye tomorrow it is with sadness and joy.

The world is rather beautiful
