Escape to myself

Last night i had a pleasant evening and dinner with Florence who is staying at the hostel. She was excellent company. This morning I got up late and had a slow start. The past couple of weeks have been quite hectic so today I will spend my last day in Okayama visiting a couple of museums. The prefectural museum has a Unesco sponsored exhibition of treasures from the Silk Road; fascinating and beautiful objects. I wish I understood Japanese; it would make visits more interesting. The museum itself is really well presented and very modern.

Followed that with a visit to the Orient Museum and a wander along the river and a beautiful garden.
