Escape to myself

After a fairly good journey on which I took the train in the wrong direction!(first idiocy in a month) I arrived in Shibuya for my Tokyo adventure. Shibuya is apparently the party capital and near the fashionista capital of Japan so I’m looking forward to exploring tomorrow. Shimokitazawa looks very bougie and a good place to start. The hostel, more s hotel is very modern, has a roof terrace, free coffee (good) a bar and restaurant where I’m indulging tonight. This isn’t slumming. I’m drinking expresso martini and spoiling myself for once. It’s convenient for the station as well. This part of Tokyo is very noisy and boisterous so it will make a change. Everyone is friendly. It will be an exciting experience. I’m very near the famous crossing as well. So tonight I’ll plan my campaign; fashion, vintage, the National museum and the backstreets. Apparently there are “love hotels “ nearby. I’ll have to check it … just out of interest.
